Dr. Valerie Quarles obtained her Ph.D. in Human Services with a Specialization in Social and Community Services from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. She received her MSW, with a Clinical Specialization in Children/Families from Fordham University in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Quarles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut. She has over 25 years of experience working within the Social Work and Human Service Fields. Dr. “Q” as most students call her has taught Social Work and Human Services courses since 2000 at several community colleges and universities.
