Tiffanie Jones
Tiffanie Victoria Jones is a research methodologist who has taught predominantly in research sequences for the past 11 years. Specifically, her skill set lies most heavily in research design and data analysis. Dr. Jones’ research centers primarily on psychosocial outcomes for special and vulnerable populations and innovative teaching techniques to increase higher-order thinking skills, critical-thinking skills, and engagement. In her role at Walden University, she teaches in the Doctoral program, providing graduate instruction and advising and mentoring students through their dissertation stage. Her major professional accomplishments include assisting in editing chapters of a statistical analysis textbook, which is used in over 75 universities worldwide; creating a research symposium; designing and implementing a research sequence; revising multiple courses; and advising 100 Master’s theses and doctoral capstone projects, domestic and abroad. Dr. Jones’ professional affiliations include the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education (AABHE) and the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
