I am a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner qualified to practice psychiatry, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. I practice specialties include (but are not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Insomnia.
I began my medical career after my discharge from the United States Navy in 2004, where I went to school full-time at Genesee Community College (GCC) to obtain my associate degree in nursing. After receiving my license as a registered nurse, I began working full-time on a step-down medical floor at the Buffalo Veteran Hospital. While attending full-time at Chamberlain University, I received a Baccalaureate in Nursing. I then continued my graduate studies at D’Youville University and received a master’s degree as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry. I decided to continue my education at Chamberlain University and achieved my final Doctoral Nurse Practitioner (DNP) degree.
For the last nineteen years working in the medical field, I have worked in many practice areas as a registered nurse, including psychiatry, primary care and family practice, gynecology, pain management, medical surgical unit, and urgent pediatric care. Much of my experience has been in psychiatry. I enjoy working with a variety of age groups.
I am a Military Veteran Business Owner. I have my mental health mobile telehealth private practice. I am also a published author. I completed my first children in November 2022. I have also volunteered in my community, promoting mental health awareness at nursing homes and local high schools. I have always enjoyed helping people, which is very rewarding.I am a married Christian with four beautiful children and one grandson. My hobbies include reading, writing, and traveling.
