Dr. Tametria Heard is a passionate educator and human services professional with over five years of teaching and professional experience. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at Walden University in the Bachelor of Science in Human Services program, where she supports students in developing practical knowledge and critical thinking skills for careers in service-oriented fields.
Dr. Heard holds a Ph.D. in Human Services, a Master of Philosophy in Human Services, and a Certificate in Advanced Research in Human Services and Social Science, all from Walden University. Professionally, she brings experience in mentoring, academic instruction, and supporting diverse populations, with a commitment to fostering inclusive and empowering learning environments.
Among her key accomplishments, Dr. Heard has successfully contributed to student development through teaching and mentorship, advanced her expertise through rigorous academic research, and applied her knowledge to promote positive social change. She continues to dedicate her work to education, service, and strengthening communities.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Heard enjoys spending time with family, singing, and shopping.
