Dr. Suzanne Kristine Coleman has several years of experience in healthcare, leadership and teaching. She holds board certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, and as an Advanced Nurse Executive and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. In addition to being Contributing Faculty for the MSN program at Walden, she is the Area Medical Leader for a National Urgent Care and Occupational Health company and practices clinically in three states, which she founds both challenging but rewarding. Dr. Coleman is passionate about collaboration, communication, translational research and lifelong learning. She is also a student at Walden University and working towards a post-doctoral business administration certificate in Healthcare Management. She is a transformational leader who strives to empower student nurse practitioners and providers to be their best selves, which she feels ultimately leads to better patient outcomes. On her off time, she enjoys relaxing by the pool with friends and family on warm summer days, music, gardening, walking my dogs, and reading.
