Steph or Stephanie Smith-Fornshell

Dr. Stephanie Smith DNP, APRN, PMHNP- BC

Board certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner Stephanie Smith recently graduated with honors, induced to the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success as well as an active member in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honer Society from Walden University with her Doctoral degree in nursing. Dr. Smiths dissertation created a clinical practice guideline for screening of post traumatic stress disorder in cancer patients. Dr. Smith does see perinatal patients remotely.

Since April of 2018, Dr. Smith has been able to share her passion in nursing while working at Walden University as a clinical nursing instructor in many of their MSN psychiatric based programs. Dr. Smith is very passionate in her field of nursing and loves being able to share her knowledge with her students.
