In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Stan Saji, PharmD, MBA, is a Clinical Pharmacist and educator with over 10 years of experience in healthcare. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Chamberlain University, where he teaches clinical pharmacology to nursing and graduate students. Dr. Saji is committed to connecting classroom learning with practical applications, enabling students to make evidence-based clinical decisions with confidence.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Saji is a peer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), ensuring clinical case reviews meet optimal care standards. He also serves on the medical content review board for RVO Health’s platforms, including Healthline, Psych Central, and Medical News Today, where he ensures the accuracy and clarity of drug-related content for a global audience.
Dr. Saji has held leadership roles in accountable care organizations (ACOs), spearheading initiatives in medication adherence, population health, and chronic disease management. His diverse experience across clinical practice, education, and public health uniquely equips him to contribute to healthcare quality improvement and patient empowerment.
