Dr. Jones brings over two decades of expertise in behavioral health, with a deep focus on culturally responsive crisis intervention and individualized service planning. Her extensive background includes years of dedicated work supporting children and families navigating mental health challenges.
A passionate advocate for health equity and universal access to mental health services, Dr. Jones is known for her dynamic approach to training and curriculum development. Her areas of specialization include Supporting Families Living in Poverty, Inclusion, and Belonging in the Workplace, Anti-Racism Education, Human Trafficking Awareness, Health Disparities, Mental Health and Society, Supporting Families with Complex Needs, The Culture of Hip-Hop, Building Rapport with Children and Families and Community-Based Care Management and Safety.
Dr. Jones’s work is grounded in the principles of Cultural Humility and a steadfast commitment to inclusion, which she champions in every facet of her work as an educator. Dr. Jones’s passion for cultural humility and inclusive practice continues to shape the future of behavioral health.
