Dr. Sherry Harrison is an academic coordinator for the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology at Walden University. Sherry holds a BS from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro specializing in middle grades education, an MAT from Salem College specializing in learning disabilities, and an EdD from Nova Southeastern University specializing in administrator leadership. Sherry was one of the first National Board Certified Teachers in America, and has experience as an elementary, middle grades and post-secondary teacher, district special education director, regional and state level education consultant, university program director in MS in education programs, and as an associate dean in EdS, EdD, and PhD programs.
