Dr. Shelly Sinegal spent 25 years in the K-12 public education sector in the Harrison County School District in Gulfport, Mississippi. After teaching for six years, she became a school administrator for 18 years and spent 1 year as the Assistant Director of Special Education. Dr. Sinegal’s longtime goal was to become a university professor. She achieved this goal and began teaching at a local university for over 5 years before beginning to teach here at Walden University.
