Shawnte Farmer
Shawnte Farmer is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. She has worked in mental health since 2010. She has worked in a range of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth environments. Her academic focus lies in psychiatric-mental health nursing, and she brings a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical assessment, and psychopharmacology to her teaching.
At Walden University, Mrs. Farmer serves as a contributing faculty member in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, where she supports the development of future nurse practitioners through clinical instruction and academic mentorship.
