Shareaka Green-Miller, PhD, LMSW, CADC-II is a licensed social worker and certified addiction counselor. Dr. Green-Miller has worked in the field of addiction in various capacities since the start of her career. Her areas of expertise include gender specific addiction and therapeutic needs of children of alcoholics and addicts. Dr. Green-Miller’s interest include aiding in the advancement of research and treatment options for persons impacted by substance use disorders. Dr. Green-Miller attended Georgia Southern University (1997, 1999) obtaining bachelor degrees in Health Science, (Community Health) and Science, (Child and Family Development). She obtained her Masters of Social Work from Savannah State University in 2004. She obtained her Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Services from Walden University in 2012; specializing in Family Studies and Intervention Strategies. Dr. Green-Miller joined Walden University as a contributing faculty member for the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work in 2015. Dr. Green-Miller resides in Southeast Georgia with her family and friends.
