Dr. Scott Newman joined Walden University as a contributing faculty member in May 2010. He holds a Ph.D. degree in history from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, which he completed in 2004. His primary areas of research interest include general U.S. history, immigration history, urban history, the history of popular culture, and the history of social change movements.
