Scott Lamprecht
Dr. Scott Lamprecht, APRN, FNP-BC, RN, is President and Chief Clinical Officer for Wellness and Education Centers of Nevada and faculty member at Walden University, and recent past President of the Nevada Nurses Association. Scott has been teaching for over 12 years and completed his Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2009 with a Practice Based Dissertation titled Sudden Cardiac Arrest Screening in Adolescent Athletes. Additionally, he is an active member of both the Nevada State Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee and former Chairman of the American Heart Association’s Southern Nevada Area Regional Faculty Workgroup. Scott is a Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Regional Faculty and Instructor with a 30-year background in Critical Care including ER/EMS, ICU/CCU, Trauma, and Open-Heart Surgery. He completed his FNP in 2012 and opened an independent no-insurance required low income clinic. Scott began his research as a First Degree Black Belt and Martial Arts Instructor with the American Taekwondo Association.
