Dr. Regina Gavin Williams obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina State University. Dr. Williams has been a Counselor Educator for eight years. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (North Carolina), Qualified Supervisor (North Carolina), and holds a certification in School Counseling (Georgia). Her primary research area focuses on supporting children and adolescents in foster care, with an emphasis on college and career readiness, adult self-sufficiency, and mental health/wellness. Her secondary research area entails exploring the intersection of career development, diversity, and wellness.
