Rebekah Haight

Dr. Rebekah Haight serves as a faculty member and a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of professional experience in mental health and human services. She earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Purdue Global, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
In her role as a faculty member, Dr. Haight has taught undergraduate human services courses and served in several leadership and service capacities, including course leadership, student engagement initiatives, faculty development, and academic success programming. She is passionate about creating innovative and engaging learning experiences that prepare students for meaningful careers in helping professions.
Dr. Haight's primary research interests include workforce readiness, experiential learning, online education, student engagement, and the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence into higher education. Her doctoral research explored the relationship between educational practices and workforce readiness among students enrolled in online undergraduate behavioral science programs.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. Haight is a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania and New York and has extensive experience working with diverse populations across mental health settings, including foster care, crisis intervention, family services, corrections, case management, and outpatient therapy. She also specializes in trauma-informed care and neurofeedback and maintains an active interest in holistic approaches to health and wellness.
Dr. Haight has presented webinars and professional development programs on topics including student success, mental health, workforce preparation, instructional innovation, and the effective use of technology in education. She is an active member of professional organizations, including the National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Her commitment to teaching excellence, student success, and innovation has been recognized through institutional awards and leadership opportunities focused on advancing educational practice.
