Rachael Davis

Rachael Davis is a nursing educator and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical experience and over five years of teaching experience in higher education. Her formal field of study is nursing, with a focus on family nurse practitioner practice and clinical education. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2001.
At Walden University, Ms. Davis serves as a clinical instructor, where she bridges online academic theory with hands-on clinical practice. In this role, she mentors nursing students during in-person clinical rotations, evaluates clinical performance, and supports students in meeting required competencies for safe and effective practice. Her teaching emphasizes evidence-based care, professional integrity, and the development of clinical confidence in novice practitioners.
