Priya Lad is a clinical faculty member in the Walden University College of Nursing since 2013. She is committed to mentoring nursing students as they grow into future advanced practice nurses who will care for pediatric communities with skill and empathy. She is also an active pediatric nurse practitioner working in the outpatient setting but also has experience in school-based health systems and federally qualified healthcare systems. As a pediatric nurse practitioner in a primary care setting, she is dedicated to providing holistic, compassionate care to an ethnically diverse pediatric population. Her goals include promoting health, preventing illness, and practicing the full scope of evidence‑based pediatric primary care. Beyond in a clinical role, she is also a certified pediatric and adult health and wellness coach, where she strives to empower individuals to take ownership of their health and achieve their wellness goals through education, encouragement, and personalized support.
