Phil Atkins

Dr. Philip Atkins is a senior behavioral health administrator with over 35 years of experience in clinical care, prevention, and system leadership. He currently serves as Chief Care Coordination Officer for a large behavioral health organization, overseeing Medicaid care coordination and developmental pediatric services. His research and teaching focus on child and adolescent mental health systems of care, leadership in behavioral health, LGBTQIA+ issues, and program evaluation. A licensed clinician and certified prevention consultant, Dr. Atkins has led major system redesigns, secured over $38M in grants, and is committed to mentoring emerging professionals in the field.
