Peter Smith

Dr. Peter Smith has been teaching at the graduate level since January 2022. Over this period, he has chaired students pursuing their Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and taught Master of Business Administration courses at another university. He joined the faculty of Walden University in May 2024 as a contributing faculty mentoring DBA students. His research and academic interests include management, entrepreneurism, and international marketing and sales.

Fluent in French and Spanish, Dr. Smith is an international business development professional, having held leadership, management, and sales and marketing positions in government and private companies in Jamaica, Brussels, London, Bahamas, and the USA. His experience spans the foreign services, international trade and foreign direct investment promotion, alternative financial services, and cross-border remittances. He currently operates a management consulting firm.
