Dr. Paula St. Hill earned her Doctor of Public Health from Walden University, a Master of Public Health from South University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Savannah State University. She has over a decade of professional experience working with numerous healthcare systems, state and local health departments, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her expertise includes infection prevention and control, epidemiology, quality improvement, and patient safety, with a primary focus on implementing evidence-based practices to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and advancing antimicrobial stewardship to help mitigate multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs).

Dr. St. Hill holds multiple professional credentials, including Certification in Infection Control (CIC), Associate in Infection Prevention and Control (A-IPC), Vascular Access Board Certification (VA-BC), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. She is dedicated to improving patient safety and quality of care across diverse clinical settings. As an educator, Dr. St. Hill supports students through accessibility, clear guidance, and mentorship, while aligning her teaching with Walden University’s mission to promote positive social change.
