Paula Bryant

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Dr. Bryant has been an RN for 38 years, including 33 years as a nursing educator. She earned a BSN and an MSN (Clinical Nurse Specialist & Nurse Educator role) from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, and an EdD from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Her clinical experience includes ICU, psychiatric nursing, home health, and long-term care. She currently works as an intake nurse at St. Simons by the Sea, a crisis stabilization facility near her home. Dr. Bryant recently joined Walden University as a Contributing Faculty and currently teaches Essentials of Evidence Based Practice in the MSN program. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Mu Pi Chapter and teaches CPR courses as part of her service in the Mu Pi Chapter. She has also served in various leadership roles in the organization including, the Treasurer and Secretary roles. Her dissertation was entitled "Predictors of Success in BSN Nursing Programs". She is also interested in Compassion Fatigue in Nursing Faculty.
