Dr. Jimenez has a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Master’s degree in General Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. All of Dr. Jimenez’s degrees were conferred by programs which are fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. Additionally, she is a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with over 34 years of combined clinical experience which includes diagnosing, treating, administering standardized psychological evaluations, and educating. Dr. Jimenez is proficient in all areas of clinical care and has had experience with curriculum development, online platform and course development, and both residential (face-to-face), and distance (online) learning. Currently, in addition to being a Contributing Faculty member for Walden University for the past 6 years, Dr. Jimenez is also in private practice, providing consultative services and psychometric assessments/psychological evaluations on a contractual basis.
