In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Natalie Walker is a finance and accounting BS/MBA graduate of Florida A&M University and a DBA (Management, Marketing & Leadership) graduate of Keiser University. Her passion for education and achievement are exemplified in her own life strategy. She stands as a leader and role model for other students, young professionals, and community members. She is a dedicated educational professional with over seven years of experience in transforming student thinking. She has taught at both public and private institutions at the undergraduate and graduate level in all modalities and has vast experience in curriculum development.
Natalie has been employed with several Fortune 100 companies in leadership and management capacities including Procter & Gamble, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, JP Morgan Chase, IBM, and Office Depot. Her research interests are pastoral leadership, personal branding, and personal leadership theory. She has presented at several national conferences including the International Leadership Association and ACSBP. She has also served as a curriculum consultant and content expert for Sage Publications and McGraw Hill.
Natalie’s professional affiliations are the following: International Leadership Association, National Association of Black Accountants, National Association of Black MBA’s, National Association of Hispanic MBA’s, ACSBP, and the Society of Human Resource Managers.
