My name is Nancy Baltz. While I am from Memphis, TN I have lived in Pocahontas, AR for > 37 years. My husband and I have four wonderful children and a beautiful daughter-in-law. We live in a rural area and even have some cows roaming our homestead area.
After graduating with my MSN in 2009, I have worked in Acute Care, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care in the ED. Currently, I have been employed in a Family Practice setting for nearly 10 years. As for my teaching role, I found a calling in leading and mentoring future nurse practitioners. I thoroughly enjoy guiding nursing students to the new role as a clinician.
As an instructor, I have taught many practicum courses, Advanced Health Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology, and Advanced Pharmacology.
