Dr. Nanaawawu M. Adeoye received her DNP in Nursing Practice at Gannon University in November 2020 and obtained her MBA at McNeese State University in 2017.

Dr. Adeoye is a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who currently works on the in-hospital psychiatry consult team at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and has served in this role since August 2021.

Prior to her current position, she worked as a hospitalist with Apogee physicians at Bayhealth Hospital in Delaware from September 2017. While at Bayhealth, she worked as an Internal medicine consult with TeamHealth Delaware from 2019 on part-time. Her teaching experience includes working as a part-time clinical faculty since 2020 at Spring Arbor University, as well as being a Support Nursing Clinical Facilitator at Louisiana Christian University in 2013.

Dr. Adeoye is currently licensed as a Nurse practitioner in Texas, Connecticut, Minnesota, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and as a Registered Nurse in Hawaii. She is a member of American Nurses Association, Beta Gamma Sigma, Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and American Association of Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Adeoye is a Part-Time Contributing Faculty with Walden University.
