Nakiya Torres

College of Nursing
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

I have been a nurse since 2014 and have remained committed to continuous professional growth since earning my initial nursing degree. I strongly believe that lifelong learning plays a vital role in improving patient care and advancing the healthcare system as a whole. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in several areas of nursing practice as well as in academic settings.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University in 2018 and later completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice in Education and Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2022. Education has always been one of my greatest passions, and I feel fortunate to contribute to the development of nurses and future healthcare leaders.
I believe that meaningful compassion in healthcare and education is rooted in genuine kindness, mentorship, and a commitment to uplifting and supporting one another.
Therefore, it is both my honor and privilege to provide you with a meaningful educational experience rooted in mentorship, encouragement, and support.
