My name is Michael Vinella and I received a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership from Walden University, M.Ed in Administration and Supervision from Kean University, and BA Economics from Rutgers University. I have worked at Walden University since 2008 teaching courses, working on committees, facilitating at residencies, and serving on various university committees. I have conducted extensive research on the implementation of professional learning communities, technology integration and curriculum/assessment development. I have worked internationally and domestically in the private sector before moving into education. While in the field of education, I have served as a classroom teacher, building administrator, and central office administrator. In 2020 I was selected as the NJ Principal of the Year. I reside in New Jersey with my wife and three children. In my free time I enjoy golfing, working out, and spending days on the lake with the family.
