Michael McNickle
Mike earned a PhD in public health from Walden University, a MPH from Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) and a MPA from Washington State University. He has worked in public health for 31 years. Currently, he serves as the public health director for a medium-sized local health jurisdiction in Aberdeen, Washington with a population of about 75,000. He supervises 50 staff and have a budget of just over $21 million. His work focuses on all aspects of public health.
Mike has taught at Walden as a Contributing Professor for over 2 years. His primary focus in on qualitative research methodology.
