Mo Cuevas
Mo Cuevas, LCSW-S, PhD, is a contributing faculty member at Walden. She studied Social Work at the University of Texas in Austin. She has been teaching social work since 1993. She has written and presented in many areas, including School Social Work, Social Work Education, Spirituality in Social Work Education, Online Pedagogy, Transformational Learning Experiences, First Year Seminar, and Community-School-Based Mental Health Training. Her previous roles have included Dean, School Director, Professor, and Professor Emerita at Our Lady of the Work University. Before that, she was the MSW Program Director at West Texas A&M University. At OLLU, she was instrumental in growing the online MSW program and the development and accreditation acceptance of the PhD program. With others, she has received grant funding from NIH, SMSHA, regional organizations, and government agencies.
