Dr. Marydee Spillett currently serves as Coordinator, Academic Success in the Office of Research and Doctoral Services at Walden. Previously, she worked as a Core Faculty Member in the EdD program at Walden. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Professor at the University of New Orleans, where she taught courses in qualitative research methods and served as qualitative methodologist on doctoral dissertation committees. She was also a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, where she taught courses in higher education administration.

Dr. Spillett also served as an Admissions Counselor and as Director of Career Planning and Placement at the State University of New York at Oswego, and she worked as a Program Assistant for the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University.
