Maria Natal

Dr. Maria Natal's formal training is in nursing, professional development, and public health. As a Registered Nurse for 30+ years, Dr. Natal has held various leadership positions in the healthcare industry. Dr. Natal served as a surveyor with the Joint Commission, where she traveled throughout the nation to assess healthcare organization compliance with patient safety, quality standards and regulatory compliance. She has developed curriculum and taught in online as well as face-to-face universities. She serves as the Administrative Director, Professional Practice, Education and Innovation at Naples Comprehensive Healthcare, Naples, Fl, where she is responsible for organization-wide education/ professional development, accreditation, and research programs. At Walden University, she teaches graduate and doctoral students enrolled in the Public Health and the Health Education and Promotion programs.
