Dr. Manuel Rosa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Puerto Rican and Hispanic Caribbean Studies, a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration from New York University, and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in higher education, serving in both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs roles.
At Walden University, Dr. Rosa serves as a faculty member in graduate-level education programs, where he supports doctoral learners through instruction, mentorship, and applied research guidance. His work focuses on developing scholar-practitioners who can lead effectively within complex educational environments.
Dr. Rosa’s primary research interests include student success and retention, higher education leadership, organizational change, and the impact of emerging technologies on teaching and learning. His subject matter expertise centers on leadership development, student engagement, and performance psychology within educational settings.
Professionally, Dr. Rosa has held a variety of leadership and instructional roles across higher education institutions and has extensive experience facilitating professional development. He is a former public speaking instructor and has led more than 100 interactive seminars focused on leadership, communication, and student success.
Among his major accomplishments, Dr. Rosa has contributed to the development of academic and student support initiatives that enhance student outcomes, while also building a reputation as an engaging and dynamic educator committed to practical, real-world application of leadership principles.
