Dr. Loretta Jackson is a new Contributing Faculty member in the Department of Social Work at Walden University who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She earned her PhD in Social Work from Walden University, where she specialized in Family Strategies and Interventions. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker(LCSW) in Mississippi, Dr. Jackson actively engages with the professional community through memberships in organizations such as the NASW-MS Chapter, Alabama-Mississippi Social Work Education, and The Baccalaureate Program Directors Association. With 10+ years of experience in Social Work and five years of experience in academia, Dr. Jackson has a solid foundation to explore social issues, make significant contributions to the profession, and cultivate a supportive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
