Dr. Lauren Mott is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and holds a supervisor credential. With nearly four years of experience as a counselor educator, she is excited to join Walden University as a Contributing Faculty member.
Dr. Mott earned a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013 and began her career at The Meadows, serving as both a primary and lead therapist. There, Dr. Mott had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the nation’s leading experts in addiction, recovery, and trauma. In 2017, she founded Northern Arizona Counseling Services in Flagstaff, Arizona, specializing in sex addiction and intimacy disorders.
Driven by a passion for education and professional development, Dr. Mott returned to school to earn a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. She is deeply committed to supporting future counselors, helping them build confidence and enthusiasm as they prepare to make meaningful impacts in the field.
