Lauren Maley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Baylor University and her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Generalist Nursing from DePaul University. She serves as adjunct faculty in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University, supporting graduate nursing students through online instruction and clinical mentorship.

Dr. Maley currently practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner, providing comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans using evidence-based assessment and clinical decision-making. Her professional background includes acute care nursing in high-acuity settings and experience as a virtual clinical educator delivering patient-centered education.

Her teaching experience includes graduate-level instruction, simulation-based education, and extensive work as a preceptor and clinical mentor for nursing students. Her areas of expertise include advanced practice nursing, online teaching and learning, simulation-based education, and evidence-based practice, with professional interests in student development and clinical education.
