Dr. Templeton is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a DNP from Frontier Nursing University, post-master’s certificate from East Tennessee State University, MSN in nursing education and a BSN from King University, and an AAS in nursing from Mountain Empire Community College.

Dr. Templeton’s registered nursing experience is diverse and spans 20 years in the following specialties: psych/mental health, cardiac catheterization lab/CVOR, GI lab, outpatient dialysis, ICU, PCU, Joint Replacement, Same Day Surgery, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Clinical Informatics. As an APRN, Dr. Templeton served patients in primary care, urgent care, and pain management clinics. She also brings 8 years of full-time teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
