Laura Groves

Dr. Laura Groves is an adjuct instructor for Walden University's BSW Program. Her primary area of teaching is Human Behavior in the Social Environment. She is a licensed social worker and coach with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, organizational leadership, and mentoring.She has practiced in settings such as healthcare, mental health and substance use, and private practice. Her areas of expertise include organizational culture, strategic leadership, and transition management. Dr. Groves has led culture change efforts in non-profit and for-profit industries, including healthcare, environmental, social service, faith-based, higher education, financial, design, and manufacturing industries.
