Dr. Woods is a contributing faculty member at Walden University in the M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

Dr. Woods graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a BS in Psychology. She graduated with her Master's in Community Counseling and certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Woods has 11 years of clinical experience, owning and running a private practice specializing in couples work, familial discord, and mood and anxiety disorders for the past seven years.
