Kristy Johnson

Dr. Kristy Johnson is a faculty member at Walden University with extensive experience in the fields of education and behavior analysis. She earned an undergraduate degree in Elementary, Special, and Early Childhood Education from Temple University, followed by a Master’s degree in Instructional Practices from Gratz College. Dr. Johnson furthered her clinical expertise by earning a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University, which led to her becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She completed her doctoral studies at Concordia University, earning a degree in Higher Education with a dissertation focused on implementation integrity.
With seven years of experience teaching at the graduate level online and 22 years of professional experience within a Philadelphia-area school district, Dr. Johnson brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her role. Her professional background includes six years as an Autism Support Teacher and 16 years as a Behavior Analyst. In addition to her district work, she has served as a private contracting consultant, providing behavior analytic services through both remote and in-person consultation across various environments.
