Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Good day! I am a nursing professional, and educator with a passion for nurturing the next generation of healthcare providers. With a strong foundation in both advanced clinical practice and academia, I bring a unique blend of real-world experience and evidence-based teaching to my role.
My background as a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner (Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) includes extensive experience in Critical Care, Nephrology, Medical/Surgical nursing, and Infectious Disease. This diverse clinical expertise allows me to bridge theory and practice, preparing learners to think critically and provide safe, high-quality patient care across settings.
In addition to my clinical work, I am deeply committed to education and mentorship. I strive to create engaging, supportive learning environments that promote clinical reasoning, professional growth, and confidence in emerging nurses and advanced practice providers.
I am also especially passionate about dementia care. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), I am dedicated to enhancing understanding, empathy, and person-centered approaches for individuals living with dementia. Through education, training, and community engagement, I support both students and caregivers in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver compassionate, individualized care.
My goal is to empower healthcare professionals to lead with competence, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
