Dr. Kiersten Hawkins-Moore is in her second year of teaching and brings professional experience in public health and epidemiology at both the state and national levels. She played a key role in leading infectious disease data efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and now enjoys helping students connect classroom learning to real-world practice. Her research interests include adolescent and young adult sexual and reproductive health, health disparities, and the role of social determinants of health.
