Kia Cain

Dr. Kia Cain is a contributing faculty member with the School of Psychology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice, Masters degree from Prairie View A & M in Counseling and her Ph.D. from Walden University in Forensic Psychology. Dr. Cain worked for the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department for over eleven years in the Mental Health Department, Court Services and the Excel Academy. She also taught Forensic Science at a local high school for six years while also teaching on the collegiate level.
