Kendall Johnson
Dr. Kendall Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Education from Fielding Graduate University, an accredited university, a Master of Social Work degree from University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Savannah State University (College) both CSWE-accredited programs. Her teaching experience includes teaching at Savannah State University (College) in the Department of Social Work from 2008 through present (2018), Walden University in the Social Work Department from 2013 through present (2018), and Columbia College in the Human Services Department from 2011 to present (2018). Additional working experience includes currently serving as Executive Director and/or managing two social service organizations that offers supportive services to children, adults, and families to help strengthen their lives so that they can live in the healthiest ways. She served as clinical manager of 2 mental health facilities (Gateway Behavioral Health Center) for over 2 years, Director of Family Preservation at Greenbriar Children’s Center for over 18 years, medical social worker at Memorial Medical Hospital (Center) for over 7 years, and group facilitator at Union Mission (Parent and Child Developmental Services) for over 20 years. She served on the Social Work Advisory Board at Savannah State University for over 3 years, Youth Futures Authority for over 2 years, and currently on the Advisory Board at American Works. Dr. Johnson is a member of the National Association for Addiction Professionals and National Association of Social Workers. Last, Dr. Johnson possesses a number of national certifications.
