Kellyn Mcmahon
Kellyn V. McMahon received her DNP at the University Alabama Capstone College of Nursing in 2014. She has been working with Walden University since 2018, but has been involved in online graduate nursing education since 2014. She has taught various online courses but particularly enjoys teaching pharmacology and pathophysiology-related nursing courses. She completed a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 and graduated with a BSN from Auburn University School of Nursing in 2008. She is credentialed as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is licensed as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner in Alabama, Illinois, and Minnesota. Her jobs as a nurse practitioner have been primarily focused in internal medicine and nephrology, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. She is a Certified Hypertension Clinician by the American Society of Hypertension and is interested the study and treatment of hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis related studies.
