Dr. Kathy Zientek is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Lindenwood University. Following the completion of her bachelors she received a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Distance Learning and then a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. She has been teaching for the last 22 years and working exclusively with adult students in higher education the last 13 years. She also has two published books.

Her husband is a retired Air Force C-130 pilot. She also has one daughter. During her time as a military spouse she lived overseas ten years. She lived seven years in Germany and three in Japan. Experiencing diverse cultures is a true pleasure of hers. Some of her favorite places traveled are; Singapore, Dubai, Egypt, Thailand and Jordan.

She currently teaches doctoral courses at Walden University. She is passionate about working with and teaching adult students. She truly believes that getting an education is the best investment an individual can make.
