​Dr. Kat Barker-Blumenfeld ​graduated with her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Auburn University in 2022. Since then, she has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of West Georgia ​since Fall 2023. ​Kat also works full time as a virtual therapist for eating disorder and trauma treatment and has her own private practice. Her primary research interests include eating disorder treatment and comorbidities, reentry services for the incarcerated population, personality disorders and relational dynamics.
