Dr. Katelyn Frey is a new contributing faculty member in the School of Psychology, teaching courses for the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program beginning in 2025. Dr. Frey's previous roles include both instructor and lab coordinator at the University of Akron, where she completed her Ph.D. in Adult Development and Aging with a research focus on ageism and aging stereotypes, "Boomers" in particular. Additionally, she was a research coordinator at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she directed recruitment and data collection for a study on the effectiveness of health coaching for pregnant and postpartum women. With seven years of teaching a variety of online undergraduate psychology courses under her belt and an ever-growing love of working with students, she is excited to have the opportunity to teach the students of Walden University.
