Dr. Karen Versuk has over 20 years’ experience in business, government, and education. Currently, she is the Director of Operations, Road Master, and Public Information Officer of a municipal government in southeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to her faculty duties here at Walden University, she is on faculty at 10 universities, specializing in research, emergency management, public safety, nonprofits, and public administration. She is former director of SmartDrive USA and was a gubernatorial appointee to the state of Delaware’s Teen Driving and Senior Driving Task Forces. Dr. Versuk has an impressive resume of grants and projects aquired and completed as a public official. Her current municipal project is the establishment of a regional emergency operations center in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. Karen has a Ph.D. from Walden University, an MBA from Eastern University, and a BA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. A parent of four, she lives on a small farm in Pennsylvania with horses, donkeys, and dogs. She enjoys traveling with family, golfs badly, and serves as communications director and grant writer for numerous public service, emergency, and fire and ambulance companies.
