Jill Price, PhD, MSN, RN, FAAN, is a nationally recognized nurse educator, academic leader, and Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She currently serves as a Professor and Senior Core Faculty member in Walden University’s doctoral nursing programs, where she teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) curriculum and mentors doctoral students.

Dr. Price brings more than three decades of experience spanning clinical practice, higher education leadership, accreditation, and global nursing education. Most recently, she served as Chief Academic Officer at Chamberlain University, providing enterprise-wide leadership for undergraduate and graduate programs across nursing and health professions. In this role, she led large-scale academic strategy, accreditation efforts, curriculum innovation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives that significantly improved student outcomes, including national licensure and certification pass rates.
Her career includes progressive academic leadership roles, including Interim Provost, Vice President of Academic Operations, Associate Provost, Dean, and Assistant Dean. Dr. Price has led multiple successful accreditation reviews with CCNE, NLN CNEA, HLC, and ARC-PA; launched new academic programs and international partnerships; secured federal funding; and advanced culturally responsive, outcomes-driven curricula that have impacted tens of thousands of learners.

Dr. Price’s scholarly work focuses on nursing education, online learning, faculty engagement, health equity, and interprofessional practice. She has authored peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national presentations and is frequently invited to speak on leadership, academic innovation, and social change in nursing education.
She holds a PhD in Nursing Education, a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership, and is a licensed Registered Nurse. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to advancing nursing education, strengthening academic quality, and preparing the next generation of nurse leaders to improve health outcomes locally and globally.
